The more I think about the the Grove-Day fight the less I'd be surprised if Day caught him for the TKO win. In fact I'd be surprised if it didn't happen.

I personally hope Jackson takes care of business agianst Jardine. Especially since I think he shouldn't need another fight before he gets a shot at the title he lost to Griffin and that Evans now holds. Jardine poses a unique challenge considering his awkward fighting style and the fact that he holds a win aganist Griffin, forget the win against Liddell since Jackson beat him twice. In any event I see Jackson KOing him early. The Gonzaga-Carwin fight is the most intriguing to me personally. Many feel Gonzaga is Lesnar's biggest threat should he get past Mir, which many expect him to this time around. Carwin could definitely give a Gonzaga a run for his money and many feel he could be one of the future stars of the sport from the heavyweight division. I see Gonzaga pulling out a submission win in this one. Matt Brown and Pete Sell, while not a match up of elite fighters, could prove to be a very exciting fight for new and old fans alike. Hammill and Maynard should win their fights but this is the UFC so don't be surprised if we catch a Koscheck type upset in either fight. Ok, maybe not as big as the Koscheck upset but either would be pretty big. Please just don't let certain sites that rank mma weight classes decide if either opponent pulls an upset that they are a top ten fighter. Look for the left half of the "may not be broadcast" portion of the card to be victorious though I wouldn't blown away if Jason Day wins by TKO/KO against the suspect chinned Kendall Grove or if Jason Brilz somehow pulls out a submission over Tim Boetsch. Overall for a card that many are asking, and will ask as this card nears it's date, why it has been put together it is one that I am excited for and believe could be quite entertaining. Well except for the Joe Duarte vs. Shawn David fight which I haven't seen being announced as part of this card except in this blog. If it has please correct me so I can do some research on ithe fighters involved. This becomes an even better card since I live in a town that will have several venues that televise it so I can watch for free.
