It took Hong Man Choi only 1 minute and 17 seconds to stop Jose Canseco at DREAM 9 by way of a submission due to strikes. Anyone surprised out there? Why do I hear crickets?
Still, you've got to give the guy credit for either ignorance or bravery. After all, taking on a man that big with legitimate professional kickboxing skills was a leap of faith.

“That’s a big man,” Canseco said after the fight, confirming this notion. “I ran into one of his left jabs and that almost knocked me out. You have no idea how scary it was facing a man that big.”

After landing a right to the body and trying some big hooks Canseco went down after a failed kick attempt. Afterwards, he reported that a knee injury incurred in training was the reason for him losing his balance. Regardless, Choi followed him down and that was all she wrote.
